Hand-harvested on Chios, Greece
Ritualistic

Our story

An old ritual, returned.

Long before chewing gum was plastic and sugar, people chewed resin from the trees. Ritualistic exists to bring that simpler, more intentional chew back into everyday life.

From the Aegean to your pocket.

The mastic tree, Pistacia lentiscus, grows across the Mediterranean, but only on the southern slopes of Chios does it weep the golden resin known as mastic. Each summer, growers score the bark by hand and wait for the tears to form, dry and fall onto the earth below, where they are gathered and cleaned.

Ancient Greeks, Egyptians and Romans treasured it and called it the Gum of the Gods. We think it deserves a place in modern life, not as a novelty, but as a small daily ritual: a moment to slow down, breathe and be present.

Ritualistic mastic is packed in a reusable tin so it can travel with you: to your desk, your studio, your bag or your bedside.

Ritualise your life.

Keep a tin close. Reach for it when you sit down to create, when you need a reset after a meal, or when you simply want to come back to yourself.
